Тема: Рождество в Британии.

Цель: *Познакомить учащихся с традициями Великобритании на примере празднования 25 декабря (католическое Рождество).

  • Заинтересовать учащихся в изучении английского языка как средства знакомства с англоязычными странами.
  • Активизировать познавательную деятельность учащихся, дать им возможность оценить свой уровень владения английским языком, применить знания и умения в новой ситуации.

Ход урока:

1. Приветствие. 2. Речевая разминка: What are your associations with Christmas? (Презентация). Guess the crossword.

3. Введение в тему: * Facts about Christmas.(в картинках, презентация)

Do you know any traditions? (глядя на картинки, дети cоставляют предложения, позже появляется предложение).

4. Закрепление материала: Task #1. Put the sentences in the right order. (презентация)

Task #2. Read the superstitions. Do you believe in them? (презентация)

Name the Christmas superstitions of your country.

5. Домашнее задание: Write down the letter to your pen-friend about Christmas traditionsin Russia.
