Тема урока: "This mysterious London"
Автор:Журлова Е.В. Цель урока: формирование лексического навыка говорения по теме «Лондон». Задачи урока: 1.формирование социокультурной компетенции студентов; развитие умения работать с текстом и текстовыми заданиями.
Лексический материал урока: capital,sightseeing, The City, Buckingham Palace, population, The West End, Westminster Abbey, total area,The East End, Stonehenge, worth seeing.
Оснащение урока: карточки с текстом «This mysterious London», фотографии, презентация.
Ход урока. Этапы урока:1.Организационный момент. Речевая разминка. Good morning. Today we’ll have a very interesting lesson, but at first let’s answer the questions: What do you know about English-speaking countries? How many these countries in the world? The homeland of English language is Great Britain. Do you know the capital of it?(London). Учащиеся отвечают на вопросы, рассуждают.Let’s know some more interesting new facts about this beautiful mysterious city of London. 2. Презентация. 3. Работа с англоязычными текстами: а) введение новой лексики;б) чтение текста;в) ответы на вопросы к тексту.
Try to answer following questions: What is the population of London? How many districts are in the city? Tell about the City of London Tell about the West End? Tell about the East End? Number the sightseeing of London? Why is London worth seeing?
Подведение итогов. Do you like to visit London? Why? Учащиеся отвечают на вопросы, подводят итоги.
