Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку "В мире животных" в 5 классе

Цели урока:

1. Совершенствовать умение учащихся использовать в речи предлоги места,

утвердительные, вопросительные и отрицательные структуры с модальным глаголом can.

2. Совершенствовать умение учащихся составлять связное описание животного.

3. Развивать умения в чтении, говорении и аудировании.

3. Воспитывать интерес к изучению фауны мира.

Оборудование урока:

ПК, проектор, раздаточный материал (открытки с изображением животных), магнитофон.

Тип урока: урок-игра.

Ход урока:

1. Организационный момент (2 мин.)

Вступительное слово учителя

Today we are going to visit one of those places where children like to go very much. Guess what it is. (Слайд №1)

A riddle. This is a place where there are a lot of animals from Africa, Americas, Australia, Russia and so on. They are in the cages (клетки).

The key: the zoo.

II Речевая и фонетическая зарядка (3 мин.)

Do you like to go to the zoo?

(Possible answers: Yes, I do. No, I don’t.)

Let’s go to the zoo by bus. I’m a conductor. Boys come here and take your tickets. Girls come here and take your tickets. Find your pair and take your seats together. Now read what is written on your tickets, the others continue a tongue- twister. You are ready to travel. Let’s sing a bus song. (См. приложение №1 и 2)

Do you know any poems or tongue- twisters with the word “zoo”?

(Possible answers:

I like to go to the zoo,

To the zoo, to the zoo.

Come with me to the zoo,

To the zoo, to the zoo.

Zany zebra is my favourite animal in the zoo.)

III Беседа по карте зоопарка (6 мин.)

1) Сбор информации (Слайд №2)

What animals are there in the zoo?

(Possible answer: There are kangaroos, zebras, cheetahs, crocodiles, tigers, monkeys, lions, pumas, …)

2) Работа по цепочке.

P1.What’s your favorite animal?

P2. My favorite animal is… What’s your favorite animal?

Look at the map of the zoo and answer my questions.

1.Look at llama. What animals are there on the right?

2.Look at the zebra. What animal is there on the left?

3.What animal is there between the lion and the elephant?

4.What animals are there near the pandas?

(Possible answers:

1.There are kangaroos on the right.

2.There is the lion on the left.

3.There is the zebra between the lion and the elephant.

4.There are penguins near the pandas.)

IV Повторение грамматических структур с модальным глаголом can. (5 мин.)

1) Знакомство с обитателями зоопарка (Слайд №3) . Let’s go to kangaroos’ cage. You can read about them here.

Kangaroos live in Australia. They are big animals but they are not dangerous. They can jump very well. They can’t fly. Kangaroos are funny.

Let’s translate.

(Possible answer: Кенгуру живут в Австралии. Это большие животные, но они не опасны. Они умеют очень хорошо прыгать. Они не могут летать. Кенгуру забавны.)

2) Повторение грамматического материала (Слайд №4).

Давайте вспомним как переводится модальный глагол can, в каких случаях он используется. (См. приложение №4).

V Игра «Угадай животное» (4 мин.) (Слайд №5)

Let’s play. One of you will take a card with the name of the animal from the zoo, look at it but won’t name it. The others will guess what it is. You may ask only Yes/No questions.

(Possible questions: Is it grey/ brown/ black/ …?

Is it big/ small/ wild/ …?

Is it good at swimming/ running/ …?

Can it go/ climb/ swim/ run/ hunt/ fly/ jump/ …?)

The key: a zebra, an elephant, a lion, a monkey.

VI Самостоятельная работа учащихся (3 мин.)

Учащиеся получают открытки с изображением животных и дополняют загадки о ниx.(См. приложение №5)

Now you can make your own riddles about animals. Take your cards and complete the blanks. 3 minutes for you.

VII Выступление учащихся (5 мин.)

Read tour riddles and others guess what animal it is.

VIII Релаксационный момент (3 мин.) (Слайд №6)

Встреча с гостем. Дети поют и танцуют с осликом. (См. приложение №6)

Today we have a guest. This is a small donkey called Tingalayo. He invites us to sing and dance with him.

IX Посещение зоомагазина (7 мин.) (Слайд №7 и 8)

I know that you have got pets at home. What pets have you got? Where did you buy them?

Would you like to go to the Animal Store now?

It isn’t far from here. Come in. Look at the list of the animals which are on sale. (См. приложение №7)

What animal would you like to buy?

What is the price? Have you got money?

You can earn money to buy any animal you like. You should do a task from the Low Price List and the pet is yours. (См. приложение №8)

X Заключительный этап урока (2 мин.)

1) Подведение итогов.

We have been to the zoo, sung songs, danced, played games and bought pets.

2) Выдача призов.

I really hate to say goodbye but it’s time to do it. I have small and unexpected gifts for you. Take them. Thank you and goodbye. (Слайд №9)
